Went out again this morning with my son and step-daughter. Would have stayed longer but they started to act up (they are 4 and 8...) Will try to get out to catch the night time "glow" session if the kids behave today.

This really is a unique event. Balloons go up at 7am on the dot, fly just over the trees and then dip into Prospect Lake before ascending into the morning sky.

I'm still screwed up from jet lag so when I was reminded of the Balloon Classic by the Colorado Springs Gazette (at 3am) I decided to sneak out of the house to check it out around 7. I'm taking the family tomorrow morning.
